Implants vs Dentures

Tired of your dentures? Compare your options.

People often come to us because their dentures are loose, sore or irritating, or because they worry about them breaking on hard food.

Implants offer two ways forward: anchor your denture to them, or replace it with a full set of fixed teeth on four implants.

Common Questions

The questions patients ask us most.

I've worn dentures for years. Is it too late?

Not necessarily. Anyone who has had problems with dentures should think about All-on-4, even if they have been told before that bone loss rules implants out. Your assessment shows what is possible.

Will I be without teeth during treatment?

With All-on-4, your new teeth can be fitted on the same day as the implants. For a stabilised denture, we explain every stage at your assessment.

Stabilised dentures or All-on-4: which is right for me?

Stabilisation gives your denture a firm anchor on implants. All-on-4 replaces it with a full set of fixed teeth. Which suits you depends on your mouth and what you want, and we will talk you through both.

How much does it cost?

Implant-supported dentures start from £4,500. All-on-4 is quoted at your full case assessment (£125), before anything begins. Finance is available, subject to status.
