Dental Implants

Replace missing teeth with dental implants.

Dental implants are a permanent replacement for missing teeth that can make you feel like you have your natural teeth back. Whether you have lost one tooth or several, we offer both staged and same-day implants.

Dr Jag Shergill undertook extensive postgraduate training in implant dentistry and holds an MSc in dental implants from Warwick Medical School.

How It Works

How a dental implant works

An implant is a titanium substitute for the root of a tooth, which a crown, bridge or denture is then fixed to.

  1. Assessment

A one-hour appointment with all X-rays, photographs and moulds, and a treatment plan with the cost explained before anything begins. It is £125.

  2. The Implant

A titanium implant takes the place of the tooth's root and is secured in the jaw bone, often at the same visit the old tooth is removed.

  3. Healing

The implant's coated surface lets the bone grow onto it, a process called osseointegration, which gives it strength and stability.

  4. Your New Tooth

Around three months later, once the implant has integrated, it can support a crown, a bridge or a denture.

Common Questions

The questions patients ask us most.

Am I suitable for dental implants?

Whether you have lost one tooth or several, implants may be an option. A full case assessment, with X-rays, shows whether they are right for you.

How long does treatment take?

With staged implants, the implant integrates with the bone for around three months before your new tooth is fitted. We also offer same-day implants, and your assessment shows which suits you.

Why choose an implant rather than a bridge?

A bridge can mean drilling into the teeth next to the gap. An implant replaces the root of the missing tooth itself, so the teeth beside it are not drilled.

How much do dental implants cost?

A fully restored single tooth implant and crown starts from £2,800. Every option is on our fees page, and finance is available, subject to status.
